Spray in place Polyurethane Foam (SPF)
SPF's closed cell structure stops air infiltration, the chief culprit of most energy loss. A one-inch thickness of SPF has an insulating value of R-7/in and the protective coating provides an 89% reflective finish. When you install SPF over an existing roof, you retain the pre-existing R-value, as well as adding to it.
